CheckCam — Visual Reminder is a minimalist iOS application developed by Volodymyr Zorin. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when using the app.
CheckCam — Visual Reminder stores your photos, videos, thumbnails, audio contained in videos, app settings, pin metadata, and reminder preferences locally on your device. Your camera content is not uploaded by CheckCam unless you choose to share or export it through iOS sharing features.
To provide subscriptions, purchase restoration, referral codes, referral rewards, offer-code rewards, eligibility checks, referral statistics, and advertising attribution where permitted, CheckCam and its service providers may process the limited data described below.
Photos, videos, thumbnails, and pin metadata are stored locally in the app sandbox, currently under the app's Application Support media storage. Files are protected using iOS file protection where applicable and are excluded from device backup by CheckCam.
Photos and videos are automatically deleted based on your selected time preference, your manual deletion actions, and whether an item is pinned.
Local media uses the following privacy protections:
CheckCam stores photos, videos, thumbnails, audio contained in videos, app settings, pin metadata, and reminder preferences locally on your device. Audio is included only in videos recorded while the audio setting is enabled and microphone permission is granted.
Pinned media is intended to protect selected items from CheckCam automatic deletion and some batch deletion actions, but it is still local device data. Pinned media can be deleted if you manually unpin and delete it, remove the app, lose the device, or if storage or file errors occur.
CheckCam — Visual Reminder requests the following permissions to function properly:
CheckCam uses Apple services for purchases and operating system features, WinWinKit for referral and reward features, and TikTok Business SDK for advertising attribution and measurement when permitted by your iOS tracking choice and applicable law.
CheckCam does not send your photos, videos, audio, contacts, or precise location to WinWinKit or TikTok.
CheckCam uses WinWinKit to provide referral codes, referral rewards, offer-code rewards, eligibility checks, and referral stats.
When referral features are enabled, CheckCam generates a random app-specific UUID, stores it locally, and sends it to WinWinKit as an appUserId. WinWinKit uses this identifier to manage your referral code, claimed codes, rewards, eligibility, and referral statistics.
Referral code claims, rewards, referral stats, and purchase transaction attribution may be processed by WinWinKit for app functionality, including referral conversion attribution and reward granting.
CheckCam does not send your email, phone number, name, IDFA, contacts, location, photos, videos, or audio to WinWinKit.
CheckCam uses TikTok Business SDK to understand whether advertising leads to paywall views, checkout activity, trials, subscriptions, or Lifetime purchases, and to measure advertising performance when you allow tracking permission.
Events sent to TikTok when tracking permission is allowed may include the paywall trigger, product identifier, product name, product type, price, currency, trial status, StoreKit transaction identifier when permitted, event identifier, and event time. The SDK may also process the iOS tracking authorization status, IDFA when available and permitted, IDFV, IP address, user agent, device model, operating system version, locale, app identifier, app version, build number, and SDK generated session or anonymous identifiers.
The SDK communicates with analytics.us.tiktok.com. CheckCam disables the SDK feature for automatic payment tracking, but CheckCam sends the purchase and subscription events described above when tracking permission is allowed.
CheckCam requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling TikTok advertising attribution that may be used for tracking. If you allow tracking, CheckCam may use TikTok Business SDK for advertising attribution and measurement, including paywall views, checkout activity, trials, subscriptions, and Lifetime purchases.
If you decline App Tracking Transparency permission, CheckCam does not use IDFA, does not enable cross app tracking, and does not send TikTok advertising event data that identifies or tracks you across apps or websites.
CheckCam may still allow Apple's privacy preserving attribution technologies, such as SKAdNetwork, to operate. SKAdNetwork is provided by Apple to measure advertising performance without giving CheckCam or TikTok user level tracking data. SKAdNetwork may send aggregated or privacy preserving attribution postbacks according to Apple's rules.
You may later change tracking permission in iOS Settings. The change applies to future collection.

All purchases in CheckCam — Visual Reminder are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not collect, receive, or store your payment card or billing details. Payment information is handled solely by Apple.
CheckCam processes StoreKit product and transaction information locally to determine access and restore purchases. CheckCam may send product information, transaction identifiers when permitted, price, currency, trial status, and subscription or Lifetime purchase events to WinWinKit for referral and reward functionality and to TikTok for advertising attribution and measurement as described in this Policy.

We may adjust prices for subscriptions or in‑app purchases in accordance with Apple policies. Apple may notify you and, in some regions, may require your consent to continue. If you do not agree, your subscription may not renew.
Free trials and introductory offers are limited to one per Apple ID per subscription group.
Purchase state, receipts, and transaction identifiers may be processed locally on your device via StoreKit to determine eligibility and access to features. Transaction attribution data may also be sent to WinWinKit to support referral conversion attribution, restore purchases, and grant referral rewards. When tracking permission is allowed, purchase and product event data may also be sent to TikTok for advertising attribution and measurement.
Eligible in‑app purchases/subscriptions may be available via Apple's Family Sharing. Availability depends on your App Store region and Apple account settings.
Although CoreLocation and MapKit frameworks may be present in the app, CheckCam — Visual Reminder does not access or store your location in any form. Geolocation metadata is not saved or attached to photos.
Camera capture, local media storage, audio recording, pinning, and automatic deletion operate on your device. Network access may be used for Apple purchase services, WinWinKit referral and reward functionality, TikTok advertising attribution and measurement when tracking permission is allowed, and Apple privacy preserving attribution technologies such as SKAdNetwork where available. CheckCam does not upload your photos, videos, audio, contacts, or location.
You retain control over your local media:
Users can delete local app data from app settings or enable automatic deletion for local media. You may contact us to request review or deletion of referral-related data processed through our service providers where applicable.
Local media retention depends on your automatic deletion setting, manual deletion actions, pinned state, app removal, device storage behavior, and file availability. Settings, pin metadata, redeemed offer state, and reminder preferences are stored locally until you remove the app, clear the relevant data where available, or the app deletes or replaces the data as part of normal operation.
Apple, WinWinKit, and TikTok may retain data according to their own terms, privacy policies, platform rules, and applicable settings. We do not control their independent retention periods.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or complaint to a regulator. These rights may be limited where data is stored only on your device, where CheckCam cannot identify you from the data, or where retention is required by law, fraud prevention, security, or transaction records.
To make a privacy request, contact us at support@zorrinapps.com. For Apple, TikTok, or WinWinKit data handled directly by those providers, you may also need to use their privacy tools or contact channels.
CheckCam is developed in Ukraine and may use service providers that process data in other countries. Apple, TikTok, and WinWinKit may process data outside your country or region according to their own terms, privacy notices, data processing terms, and applicable transfer mechanisms.

CheckCam — Visual Reminder is not intended for children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through referral or purchase functionality, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, users will be informed in-app and a new Effective Date will be set. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
