These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application CheckCam — Visual Reminder, developed by Volodymyr Zorin ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). CheckCam — Visual Reminder is developed and published by Volodymyr Zorin, an independent developer registered in Ukraine. By purchasing, downloading, or using CheckCam — Visual Reminder, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CheckCam — Visual Reminder solely for personal and non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
This license does not grant you any ownership or intellectual property rights in the app.
All rights, title, and interest in and to CheckCam — Visual Reminder and its contents, including but not limited to software code, design, icons, and graphics, are owned by the Developer.
You agree not to:
CheckCam — Visual Reminder allows you to create and manage temporary photos and videos that are stored locally on your device. Videos may include audio only when you enable audio recording and grant microphone permission.
You are responsible for obtaining any permission required before recording people, voices, private property, confidential information, or copyrighted material. You must use the app in compliance with applicable privacy, recording, surveillance, intellectual property, and other laws.
You agree not to:
CheckCam — Visual Reminder is available as a free download on the Apple App Store with optional premium features through in-app purchases and subscription services. All transactions, including subscriptions and in-app purchases, are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service. Subscription management and refund requests must be handled directly through your Apple ID account settings or Apple's App Store support.
Premium access is determined from current verified Apple StoreKit entitlements, including an active subscription, a valid Lifetime purchase, or another reward or access right expressly granted by the Developer. Installing or having used an earlier version of the app does not by itself create a Lifetime entitlement unless the Developer expressly granted that entitlement.
We will not revoke a valid paid purchase or another access right that applicable law or an express commitment requires us to honor. If you believe your access is missing, contact support@zorrinapps.com and use Restore Purchases in the app.
Certain features are available via an auto‑renewable subscription. The subscription term (e.g., monthly or yearly) and price are shown in the app before purchase.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto‑renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. If a free trial or introductory offer is provided, its length and terms are shown before purchase. For the annual subscription, the first week is free (7‑day trial). Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, your chosen subscription plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown in the app, and the renewal will be charged to your Apple ID.
You can cancel at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; partial refunds aren't provided for unused time.
Free trials and introductory offers are limited to one per Apple ID per subscription group.
Lifetime is a one time, non consumable purchase that unlocks the Premium features offered by the current CheckCam app for as long as the Developer continues to make those features available. Lifetime refers to the lifetime of the app and service, not the lifetime of the purchaser, and does not guarantee that every future feature, separate product, or successor application will be included. Nothing in this paragraph limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
This purchase is separate from subscriptions and can be restored using the "Restore Purchases" option when Apple verifies the entitlement.
We may change prices for subscriptions and in‑app purchases in accordance with Apple policies. Apple may notify you and, in some regions, require your consent to continue. If you do not agree, your subscription may not renew.
Prices may vary by region and local taxes. The exact price is shown in the app before purchase.
All payments and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit: https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
You can restore prior purchases, including the Lifetime purchase and active entitlements, using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app. Restoration depends on Apple verification and the Apple ID used for the purchase.
Eligible subscriptions or in‑app purchases may be available via Apple's Family Sharing, depending on your App Store region and Apple account settings.
Referral codes, offer code rewards, promo Lifetime rewards, and other rewards may be provided through WinWinKit or Apple App Store mechanisms. Rewards may depend on eligibility, expiration dates, availability, App Store region, Apple ID status, subscription group rules, and Apple redemption rules.
Referral rewards are provided at our discretion and may be denied, revoked, or adjusted if we detect abuse, self-referral, code manipulation, fraudulent reward claims, or activity that violates these Terms or App Store rules.
Referral and reward data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
CheckCam uses Apple services for distribution, purchases, subscriptions, restoration, and operating system features. CheckCam uses WinWinKit for referral and reward features. CheckCam also uses TikTok Business SDK for advertising attribution and measurement when permitted, including measurement of paywall views, checkout activity, trials, subscriptions, and Lifetime purchases.
Your use of third party services may also be subject to their applicable terms and privacy notices. Information about the data processed by CheckCam and these providers, the iOS tracking permission, SKAdNetwork, and your privacy choices is available in the CheckCam Privacy Policy.
Where required, CheckCam uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request permission before enabling advertising tracking. You may accept or decline the request and may later change the permission in iOS Settings. Declining tracking does not prevent you from using the core camera, local gallery, or purchase restore features.
If you obtained the app via the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also governed by the Apple Media Services Standard EULA, available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If you provide your own EULA, it must not conflict with Apple's terms.

CheckCam — Visual Reminder is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
CheckCam is designed for temporary local media and is not a backup or archival service. Photos, videos, and audio contained in videos may be permanently deleted according to your automatic deletion settings, your manual actions, available device storage, operating system behavior, app removal, device loss, file corruption, or software errors.
Pinning an item is intended to protect it from CheckCam automatic deletion and some batch deletion actions while the item remains available to the app, but it is not a backup and does not guarantee permanent preservation. Export any media you need to keep before its deletion period expires.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use CheckCam — Visual Reminder.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ukraine.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date and, when required by law or appropriate because of a material change, provide notice in the app or request additional consent. Changes do not retroactively remove paid rights or other rights that applicable law requires us to honor.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle your data. It is considered part of these Terms.
